It is a coffe and cocoa producing area, with a height of 600 meters above sea level being the ecological capital of Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta located just 21km from the capital Santa Marta-Magdalena-Colombia.
In this place we can enjoy beautuful rivers and mountains with a spectacular climate just a few minutes from the city of Santa Marta. Minca is experiencing a transformation process.
Thanks to Ecotourism, many peasant families benefit from the tourism value chain due to the mecca of biodiversity that these sacred mountains protect. Highlighting that it is the area with the largest number of endemic birds in the country. Bird watching is the most famous activitiy practiced in its surroundings, with Europeans and Americans being the main visitors.
